NEWS // Winston Economics team will attend Bristol mayoral debate
We are going to attend first Bristol mayoral debate on 5th of November. This is an exciting event for Bristol. We took part in a meeting with Marvin Rees, Labour candidate for Mayor, earlier in September, and are looking forward to hear about positions of all of the candidates. Marvin Rees impressed with a very collaborative approach and his experience with the Local Strategic Partnership. It may well happen that the candidates will have a difficulty to differentiate themselves in this age of information where often novel approaches to growth and development are hard to come by. It will be interesting if this is proven wrong. Bristol will certainly benefit from having an elected mayor because the role is usually less political and more executive focused on delivering rather than political meddling.
